That's great, both in conception & execution. I've not tried gouache before, and now I'm tempted to try :nod:

I had to swerve to avoid hitting a turtle, recently. Why would a turtle be crossing the road (unless it had a deathwish)?

:laughing: Kind of thing that would stay with you forever, too-- I had a social obligation some 15 years ago that involved having to go up to Blackhawk to gamble with a couple in the casinos up there-- I'm allergic to gambling-- and the driver, 2 blocks into the ride up, tried to outmaneuver a squirrel in the road, which turned out how you figure it might, and the omen of doom that descended immediately was as pertinent as it was accurate...
